These are just a couple of tablerunners. The snowman is a cute pattern. The pink one was using a different pattern piece, and also the first time I tried McTavishing quilting.

Spikes

I entered the Brown Bag Challenge in Florida guild. In this challenge everyone puts 4 or more coordinating fat quarters in a brown bag with their name on the outside of the bag.

The person in charge of this, puts the fat quarters in different bags, and hands them out to someone other than the owner of the fabric. You have a year to make something with this fabric. At the big event, you present what you made to the owner of the fabric. You do not know whose fabric you have until then.

This is what I made, and it was for Susan Slaton, the President of guild at the time.

Lily wallhangings

Black and White Lilies, and Colorful Lilies - I made these two for the Peace River Quilter's Spring Challenge in I think 2008.

The challenge was to have I think 25 different textures on the quilt. I didn't win this one either, but I keep trying.

Dumpster diving

You never know what you'll find driving around the neighborhood. The first chest was white with lots of little stickers on it. Two of the drawers needed fixing, DH did that. The handles are brass. I just love it.
The second chest was sitting all kity wampus just because the backing was broken. The drawers looked like new. All my DH had to do was put a new backing on this one.

DH stands for dear husband.

Log cabin

I designed this log cabin quilt probably in 2004. It's been on a UFO pile for too long. I'm in the process of quilting it, and want to finish it. I love this quilt. I've always liked log cabins.

It is in FL waiting for me.

Copper Canyon

Copper Canyon - Spring 2009

I made this wallhanging for the Peace River Quilter's Spring Challenge. It is the first real contemporary quilt I've designed and made. The challenge had to have polka dots and circles on it.

This quilt has beading on it, angelina, eyelash yarn covered pipe cleaners, painted and shriveled (?) tyvek, free motion quilting, specialty yarn, decorative leaves. It was so much fun to make, and I remember wondering if I had enough stuff on it. When do you quit. I quit when it was due.

My son Jeff wanted this quilt, so he has it, and has had it framed.
By the way, I didn't win the challenge.
